Over the River and Through the Woods

Meet Nick, a young single Italian-American from New Jersey who dutifully has dinner with both sets of grandparents every Sunday. When he announces that he has been offered a dream job in Seattle they cook up a series of plots to keep him local. Joe DiPietro’s hysterically funny portrait of his own grandparents is universal and accurate. The play will make you laugh until you roar and then it will burrow its way into your heart. This play about family is enjoyable and suitable for all so bring the kids along—and the grandparents too.
Tickets: adults $22, seniors $18, post-secondary $16, high school and elementary $5; available online and at the Palace Theatre box office, 519-432-1029.
