In the spirit of Holiday giving, London Community Players and The Palace Theatre are pleased to extend an invitation to all families to a free preview showing of Norm Foster’s Dear Santa this coming Thursday, December 11 at 8pm.
“We want to ensure that all families can enjoy this wonderful, laugh-filled Christmas show without the extra financial burden that so many feel at this time of year.” says Karen Killeen, General Manager. “Some tickets have been distributed through community support organizations but we don’t want anyone to miss the chance to enjoy this holiday treat. There is no criteria, no application to fill out, just come and pick up tickets for you and your family.”
Those interested in free tickets should contact the Palace Theatre box office at 708 Dundas St. E., (519) 432-1029.
About the production:
A special holiday treat by Canada’s favourite playwright. Christmas is fast approaching and Santa’s workshop is experiencing supply shortages. Will the elves be able to complete the toys on time? Will Santa trade in the reindeer for the latest model rocket sled from Detroit? Will the stowaway on the Santaland Express make it home in time for Christmas? Will Santa be able to grant a little boy’s special Christmas wish? This laugh-filled Christmas classic is fun for youngsters and Foster’s wit and satiric eye will keep the adults entertained. Great fun for the whole family.
Directed by: Dale Hirlehey
Produced by: Harry Edison & Andrea Bennett
NOTE: the regular production runs December 12–20.
