Splendor in the Grass

Set in the turbulent end of the 1920s, this story explores themes of sexual repression and social norms. In this love story like no other, the forbidden love of an emotionally vulnerable Kansas girl and her well-to-do boyfriend eventually lead to trauma, heartbreak and madness.
