The Old Maid and the Thief

“The Devil couldn’t do what a woman can—make a thief out of an honest man”. Or is it the other way around? An old spinster takes a handsome drifter into her home and her infatuation drives her to perform despicable acts that may be her ruin!

Originally commissioned for radio broadcast by NBC in 1939, Gian Carlo Menotti’s one-act opera in 14 short scenes is entirely in English and was adapted for stage by the composer after its initial success.

Tickets: $10.

                              Hello,
I was wondering how much two tickets will be for June 25th 2011 at 9:15pm and how to purchase these tickets.
                              Thank you

                              Sadie 🙂

I believe the maximum ticket price for this year’s Fringe is $10. Advance tickets will be available from the London Fringe website in a few days, or you’ll be able to get them at the door starting half an hour before the performance. (The Wolf seats almost 400, so you probably won’t need to go the advance route.)

In either case note that you’ll also need to buy a Fringe BackerButton for each person attending. It’s a one-time purchase that will let you attend any of this year’s shows; the full ticket price goes to the artists, and the button is for the (not insubstantial) costs of running the festival.
