Animal Farm

Rebellion begets rebellion in Orwell’s stirring allegory retold as a wildly inventive stage play.

Under the cruel hand of Farmer Jones, the animals live desperate lives. Before he dies, the old and venerable pig, Old Major, implores his fellow beasts to revolt. When they do, the pigs volunteer to lead the newly emancipated society. It’s only after they gain control of the farm that the animals realize the consequence of their revolution.
