The Revenger’s Tragedy

A gruesome and satirical play about revenge and its often unpredictable and chaotic consequences. This Jacobean revenge tragedy, written a few years after Shakespeare’s Hamlet, features a similarly conflicted, witty, and histrionic hero, as well as a dramatis personae of grotesque and often hilarious supporting characters. This production assembles a lively and enthusiastic student cast and crew, exploiting Conron Hall’s eerie similarity to an indoor theatre (such as the Blackfriars) in London, England, circa 1607, to the hilt.

Tickets: adults $15, students and seniors $10; available at InfoSource and at the door.
