Suor Angelica/The Impresario

A double bill of two one-act operas: Suor Angelica (by Puccini) and The Impresario (music by Mozart). Suor Angelica is a tragic, yet uplifting tale about a nun who had a son before entering the convent. She must come to terms with the news of his death and does so in a highly emotional and moving way. The Impresario will provide much-needed comic relief after the intensity of the Puccini.
