The Miracle Worker
The Miracle Worker is based on the true story of Annie Sullivan and her blind, deaf and mute student Helen Keller. Despite their volatile relationship, Annie must free this spoiled, sometimes violent child from her silent world where she is unable to communicate with her family and the rest of the world around her. But Helen has a mind and a spirit. She will not accept willingly or meekly the teaching practices of Annie Sullivan. Their clashes are intensely physical and emotional, but Helen will learn despite her family’s interference because Annie will not give up. The Miracle Worker is a story about hope and the resourcefulness of the human mind.
