Don Quichotte

From Cervantes to Jean-Pierre Ronfard, Don Quixote travels through the ages. Overcome by his hyperactive imagination, our hero transforms reality: he tilts at windmills mistaken for giants; he leaves on a mission to find his lady love who is nothing less than a potato picker; he confuses repulsive tavern wenches for gentlewomen. In this Québécois retelling of the classic Spanish novel, Ronfard presents the ridiculous but endearing Don Quixote, accompanied by his loyal sidekick Sancho Panza, as they set out on their hilarious knight’s quest.
