Imagine being 29 and forbidden to leave your country. Nassim Soleimanpour dissects the experience of a whole generation in a wild, utterly original play from Iran.
No rehearsals.
No director.

With no advance knowledge of its contents, a different actor performs the script each night for the first and only time.

Tickets: $20 general admission, $18 students; available online (plus $1.49 transaction fee) and at the door.
Performances on March 7, 8, and 15 are in the (accessible) Bruce B. Johnson Theatre; all others are in Studio 3D, the unique performance space on the third floor.
Each evening’s performer will be announced on the day of the performance, on Twitter using the #MarchHareProject hashtag, and on the show website.
On World Theatre Day, March 27, the performance will be followed by a talkback session.

This play was a delightfully unique way to pass an hour, and I found myself riveted right from the start. I’ve never seen ideas and feelings expressed onstage in such an engaging way, and was left at the end of it feeling as if I knew the playwright well, not only on the outside but also on the inside, where it matters, even though his thoughts and feelings came through his mediator, the actor. I would recommend this play highly to everyone.
After watching White Rabbit Red Rabbit last evening, I felt I knew the writer almost as a friend. It was certainly a new experience for me. I sent Nassim a complimentary message on FB and received a friendly reply within hours.
