The King and I

For the annual holiday musical, where better to turn than to The King and I, with its relevant, uplifting story of different cultures reaching out toward mutual understanding. It is 1862 in Siam as Anna, a proper Englishwoman, and her son arrive at the Royal Palace in Bangkok, summoned by the King (a complete barbarian by British standards) to serve as tutor to his many children and wives. We watch the King and Anna grow to understand and, eventually, respect one another. Our 2014 cast will feature all ages, from our youngest to our oldest and most experienced.
