Having received a less than favorable review from a local theatre critic, Tess arrives for a solo rehearsal with her director before this evening’s performance. The only hitch is that he’s on the other side of the country. Pushing on the Ocean is a play about one artist’s struggle to be present in an increasingly disconnected world.
