Although it may not have been the design of the creators, this play really felt like a venn diagram of Cruel Intentions, Buffy the Vampire Slayer and The Labyrinth. Clever songs performed by three talented performers, this show brings a more formal experience than typically found at Fringe and likely wouldn’t work as well in any of the other venues — it really benefits from the big stage and the acoustics of The Palace. All three vocalists have “wow” moments and I particularly enjoyed the subtle (and not so subtle) soundscapes deployed throughout.

More drama than comedy, this show will engage audiences who love musicals with a macabre twist.
