A multi-form piece which is part musical, dance and drama, this show stuck with me more than expected. A well written play performed by some talented young actors, Calliope engages audiences of all ages with music, dance and humour that nicely bookends an interesting meta story about love, family, and the power of narrative. Although there were some stumbles in the premiere, this show seems poised to get better with each performance.
If you’re looking for something light and endearing, this could be the show for you!
