Gracious Living

Is the romantic love you experienced in your 20’s the same that you can expect in your 80’s? That’s the question central to Gracious Living. The play takes place in a seniors’ residence. Diana, a widow, is attracted to Max, a new resident. She enlists the help of her friend Liz, to write a series of love letters to get Max’s attention. Liz reluctantly agrees and in the process is visited by the ghost of her late husband Brad, a famous author who died young. But is he a ghost or an illusion? As Liz writes the love letters, she’s confronted by a past fueled by love, loss and regret.
