AUDITION NOTICE: at the Ingersoll Theatre (ITOPA)
SCROOGE is back, and so is A CHRISTMAS CAROL!
Adapted for stage by Lilyane Moyer
AUDITION DATES:
Sunday, June 19 at 7:00 pm ADULTS ONLY (17 years to 99 years)
Monday, June 20 at 7:00 pm ADULTS ONLY (17 years to 99 years)
Wednesday, June 22 at 7:00pm CHILDREN (6 years to 16 years)
PRODUCTION DATES: DECEMBER 9 TO 18
NOTE: Rehearsals will start in September
DIRECTOR: LILYANE MOYER PRODUCER: IAN MOYER
CAST REQUIREMENTS:
This play is a community adventure and requires approximately 40 cast members to play minor and lead roles, including: the Storyteller, Scrooge (as a child, young man and old man), Bob Cratchit, Jacob Marley, 3 spirits, nephew Fred, the Cratchit family (wife and 5 kids plus Tiny Tim) Bella, Fan, the Fezziwigs, Dick Wilkins, old Joe, Charwoman, Laundress, many townsfolk (rich and poor).
A few roles will be asked to sing during the show. Those who audition and wish to sing solos are asked to prepare a Christmas carol or hymn.
NOTE: All children are asked to prepare a Christmas carol for their auditions.
No experience or preparation beyond that is necessary as all will be given passages from the actual script to read during the auditions.
