About A Baby For Andy: A Baby for Andy is a one act drama written by director/playwright Jason Downie. The play follows the story of Andrew & Sam, a queer couple having to come to terms with a hidden dark secret a few months before their wedding.

**This play features heavy subject matter including cheating, divorce, miscarriage, death, & domestic violence. There are 16 moments throughout the text where both actors kiss either on the lips, cheek, neck, or forehead. An intimacy coordinator will be present on set through the entire rehearsal process**

All members of the cast, crew & creative team will be paid evenly with a split profit share after the performances

About The Guelph Fringe: The Guelph Fringe Festival will run from August 4-7 2022 in the city of Guelph, ON.

All rehearsals will take place in the city of Toronto.

CHARACTERS:
Andrew (he/him) : White – age 41
Sam (he/him) : POC – age 28

Selected applicants will be asked to prepare one 1-2 minute Canadian contemporary dramatic monologue.
