The easiest and most recognizable way to identify a site as immediately Canadian is with a flag, or a maple leaf in bright red.
If you added it to your banner, it would show up on every page.

There’s been an uptick in people finding and posting to this site when they’re actually looking for a forum in “the other London”. While I expected some of that sort of thing, I wonder if there’s a better way to identify that we’re focused on the one in southwestern Ontario than just having “.ca” at the end of the domain name. Given that their population is more than 40 times ours, it’s not unthinkable that we could wind up with a lot more posts from that city than from this one, especially as the search engines start to find terms (such as venue names) that are local to the one across the pond.
Anyone have any thoughts?
