Neverland

Vernon Beasley can’t tell if he’s awake or dreaming. As captain of Everland Mall’s night security team he runs a tight ship, keeping constant watch over the never-ending suburban sprawl. But these once-calm tides ripple with impending tumult as a ragtag band of pubescent vandals begin a hostile takeover. Add to the madness an ever-escalating battle with insomnia, turning our narrator’s seemingly mundane existence into a surrealist nightmare of which one’s only hope is to wake up. A mind-bending new tale that catches past and present, fantasy and reality in a maelstrom of revelation which threatens to prove that even the stillest of waters can run quite deep.
