“Omigod you guys!” A fabulously fun musical based on the adored movie, Legally Blonde follows the transformation of Elle Woods as she tackles stereotypes and scandal in pursuit of her dreams. Action-packed and exploding with memorable songs and dynamic dances – this musical is so much fun, it should be illegal!

Elle Woods appears to have it all. Her life is turned upside down when her boyfriend Warner dumps her so he can attend Harvard Law. Determined to get him back, Elle ingeniously charms her way into the prestigious law school. While there, she struggles with peers, professors and her ex. With the support of some new friends, Elle quickly realizes her potential and sets out to prove herself to the world.

Kissing the Witch reveals heroines young and old in unexpected alliances through an interconnected web of three magical stories about the power of transformation and choosing one’s path in the world. The Sound of Plaid

In 1960s America, friends who met in the audiovisual club form a student choral group. When they discover that their high school music program is going to be cut from the curriculum, they decide to host a benefit to raise money. On the way to pick up their custom made plaid tuxedos and skirts, their bus is struck by lightning. Although The Sound of Plaid members are taken from this planet, through the Power of Harmony and the Expanding Holes in the Ozone Layer (and other astro-technical stuff), they are allowed to come back to perform the show that they never got to do in life.

Superheroes, Unite

In Superheroes, Unite, the citizens of Nova City need a patron superhero to save them from the evil clutches of the nefarious Colonel Mustard and his sidekick Hemlock. So what do they do? They hold auditions! Legions of fantastic, incredible, and uncanny characters descend upon City Hall hoping the mayor and police commissioner might marvel at their strange powers, which range from super strength and super speed, to mind reading and animal whispering, from quoting Shakespeare to pointing out irony. Watch out for when Colonel Mustard unleashes a surprise attack on City Hall, both the mighty and the average must join together to bring justice and security to Nova City.

A Mixed-Up Fairy Tale

The entire world of fairy tales gets utterly mixed as the Grimm brothers are writing their stories late into the night and a terrible gust of wind flings open the door and blows the pages everywhere! The stories begin to intermingle in Wilhelm’s dreams as memorable fairy tale characters try to get to the royal ball, but somehow end up at Rapunzel’s tower, the Seven Dwarves’ cottage and Snow White’s castle. Dwarves, bears, pigs, and witches all end up lost and out of place as they search for their happily ever after!

We’ve all heard the story of Cinderella, but we’ve never heard about Bob, her long lost twin brother! Living in the same kingdom with different wicked stepfamilies, Cinderella’s cruel stepmother and evil stepsisters make her rotate tires and polish bowling trophies while Bob’s evil stepfather and cruel stepbrothers force him to make dried herb wreaths and organize their sock drawers. When Lou the UPS Guy arrives with invitations from the Kingdom of Wychwood-under-Ooze, Cinderella and Bob are both thrilled but forbidden to attend the festivities. For seven years a certain boy wizard went to a certain Wizard School and conquered evil. This, however, is not his story. This is the story of the Puffs… who just happened to be there too. A tale for anyone who has never been destined to save the world; this clever and inventive play “never goes more than a minute without a laugh” giving you a new look at a familiar adventure from the perspective of three potential heroes just trying to make it through a magic school that proves to be very dangerous for children. Alongside them are the Puffs, a group of wellmeaning, loyal outsiders with a thing for badgers “who are so lovable and relatable, you’ll leave the theater wishing they were in the stories all along“. Raise your rock horns for this Broadway smash hit rock musical! It’s the tail end of the big, bad 1980s in Hollywood, and the party has been raging hard. Aqua Net, Lycra, Heavy Metal flow freely at one of the Sunset Strips last legendary venues, a place where legendary rocker Stacee Jaxx takes the stage and groupies line up for their chance at an autograph. Amidst the madness, aspiring rock star (and resident toilet cleaner) Drew longs to take the stage as the next big thing (and longs for small-town girl Sherri, fresh off the bus from Kansas with stars in her eyes). But the rock and roll fairy-tale is about to end when German developers sweep into town with plans to turn the fabled Strip into just another capitalist strip mall. Bremen Rock City

Loosely based on a Brothers Grimm fairy tale, this original Canadian musical follows the story of Jack, a guitar-shredding donkey, who escapes from his boring life on the farm to pursue his dream of becoming a rock star. On Jack’s quest he forms a band called The Strays, which includes Duke, a hopelessly muzzled canine drummer; the artistic and sardonic cat, Lex, who plays a fierce bass; and a meek baby rooster Simon, with the riff‐tastic voice of an angelfish. The Strays head to Bremen Rock City, where music legends are born! But Jack soon gets swept up in the world of free snacks, hugs, and rock n’ roll, and must decide what’s more important: fame or friendship.

A Midsummer Night’s Dream

Shakespeare’s classic comedy is brought to life — full of magic, mischief, and love. On a midsummer’s night Hermia and her lover Lysander flee from Athens and Demetrius – the man Hermia’s father favours as a son-in-law. Demetrius follows, pursued by Helena who loves him in spite of being spurned in favour of Hermia. On the same night Bottom and his friends leave Athens to find somewhere quiet to rehearse their play which is to be performed at the wedding feast of Duke Theseus. Drawn into the woods they enter a world of magic, mystery and wonder.

But in the middle of the party, something mysterious happens – all the adults suddenly vanish! Trapped in the backyard, the kids realize they must create a brand new society. However when they elect Skyler’s older brother, Charlie, as their ruler, things really begin to spin out of control. Eventually the kids learn a big lesson in responsibility, while Skyler and Charlie develop a greater respect for one another.

The Trials of Robin Hood

This family-friendly comedy combines three different perspectives of the immortal legend into one hilarious trial! Our second journey to Nottingham this season questions whether Robin Hood is a lusty hero, a hopeless lover, or an evil criminal. Upon his return from the Crusades, King Richard is forced to figure out what happened in his kingdom during his absence. Is the outlaw Robin Hood a hero, a lovelorn sap, or just plain silly? Told from the perspectives of Robin himself, Maid Marian, and the Sheriff of Nottingham, this hilarious tale combines three different stories into one — and with three different endings, it is up to the audience to decide which one is true.

“This totally rockin’ brand-new musical comedy brings a fresh spin on the legend of Robin Hood!” Our first adventure into Sherwood Forest is a musical origin story, beginning in a happier time when Nottingham was wealthy and prosperous. A young orphan Robin and his twin sister Hazel arrive with big hopes to open an archery shop, but immediately run into trouble. The rotten Sheriff of Nottingham and his avaricious fiancée, Lady Blackwood have seized their opportunity to tax the town blind. Robin quickly makes an enemy of the sheriff and eventually becomes a wanted man! Along with his legendary friends, Friar Tuck, Little John, Marian, and more, this team bands together to help return what is stolen from the poor and eventually bring the evil sheriff down.
