Tachycardia 2022

Tachycardia (or “Tachy” for short) is a 65-plus-year tradition at the Schulich School of Medicine and Dentistry at Western University. It is an annual theatrical production that lets Western medical students give back to London and the medical community.

Since its inception in 1955, Tachycardia has given thousands of students a chance to showcase their musical and theatrical talents and help raise funds for charitable causes. The show is entirely written, directed, produced and performed by medical students at the Schulich School of Medicine & Dentistry. It features music, comedy and dancing, all with a medical twist. All four classes at the School of Medicine perform a piece in the show, and thus the show regularly represents all four years of medical school.

Tachycardia is regularly attended by not only students, but prominent university staff, professors, and alumni. Annually, our show has over 1,500 attendees, drawing audiences including physicians and medical residents.

The show is entirely written, directed, produced, and performed by medical students at the Schulich School of Medicine and Dentistry. It features music, comedy, and dancing, all with a medical twist. Tachycardia is regularly attended by not only students, but prominent university staff, professors, alumni, and physicians. Annually, our show has over 1,500 attendees across three runs of the show taking place over two days.

Kick start your heart!

Tachycardia (or “Tachy” for short) is the annual evening of original musical theatre conceived, written, directed, produced and performed by the medical students at The University of Western Ontario. Now in its 55th year, Tachycardia has provided medical students with an opportunity to showcase their talents, give back to the community, and raise funds for charitable causes. This year, as for the past several years, all proceeds will go to the AIDS Committee Of London.
