Vernon God Little

A darkly riotous, superbly fast-talking hilarious adventure, adapted from the Booker Prize-winning novel. Vernon Little is 15 years old and lives with his mother in Martirio, a small flea-bitten Texan town. When his friend Jesus Navarro commits suicide after killing 16 bullying schoolmates, suspicion falls on Vernon, who becomes something of a scapegoat. Fearing the death penalty, he goes on the run to Mexico with cops on his tail. Infused with live music that underscores Vernon’s journey, this play is sure to be a hit.

Set in New York City’s gritty East Village, Rent tells the story of a group of bohemians struggling to live and pay their rent. These starving artists strive for success and acceptance while enduring the obstacles of poverty, illness and the AIDS epidemic.

This staging of Rent will be presented in staged concert version with minimal sets, costumes and staging.
